Meet Our Chief Executive Officer
Annie Holt, RN, MBA, CPHQ, FACHE, joined Alaska Regional Hospital as Chief Executive Officer in October 2009.
Annie Holt has a long and distinguished career in the healthcare field. Included in her past experience are CEO of Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, and CEO of Indianapolis Women’s Hospital.
Prior to arriving at Alaska Regional, Annie was the Vice President of Quality and Service Line Development for the HCA Mountain Division.
She has served as Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Clinical Officer of St. Mark’s Hospital (simultaneously) in Salt Lake City and began her career many years ago as a nurse. Annie has a Bachelor’s Degree as well as an MBA. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has 30 years of experience in hospital administration. Most importantly, Annie is a proven leader with a passion for improving patient care.
Annie and her husband, Don Gomes, own a much-loved Australian Shepherd named Bear. Annie’s favorite activities include hiking with a camera and Bear, running, traveling with Don, cross country skiing, photography and reading adventure books.
