Jaclin LaBarbera, MD

Throughout medical school, Dr. LaBarbera knew that her heart was in working with children. After medical training at NYU, she stayed in New York City for pediatric residency at Cornell University, where she was involved in one of the first resident driven quality committees in the country. She then trained in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at University of California, San Francisco. Whether supporting a family through critical illness or helping them navigate new parenthood, Dr. LaBarbera loves how the whole family is involved in a child's care. She uses her prior ICU experience along with parenthood experiences in her work with families. She is especially passionate about breastfeeding and newborn medicine. She believes that the most important thing in pediatrics is forming relationships with families as they navigate the struggles of parenthood, medical complexity and wellness care.
